Storage loss before shipping

Loss of tubers during storage is common for certain varieties. We undersell our stock of tubers by 30%. However, it is possible that between the time you purchase and the time we begin shipping, tubers may rot in our storage. If that happens, Shopify will notify you and we will refund the purchase price of the tuber that is no longer available. If you ordered other varieties, they will ship as expected. If you did not order any other varieties, your shipping fee will also be refunded. If you prefer a like variety to be shipped in case of failure please email so we can note your account.

Shipping Policy

Flat Rate Shipping

All orders ship at a flat rate of $15.

Seasonal Shipping Windows

  • Fall Shipping: First two weeks of November
  • Spring Shipping: Beginning the first week of April

Orders are shipped in the order they are placed. We monitor weather conditions on our end; however, it is the customer’s responsibility to consider local weather. If you know it is unsafe to receive tubers during our shipping window, you must notify us before shipping.

Cold Weather Shipping Policy

If you request early shipping (before April), please be aware that we are not responsible for any damage caused by freezing temperatures during transit. No refunds or replacements will be issued for tubers damaged due to cold exposure.

Shipping Delays Disclaimer

Once your order has been shipped, transit times are out of our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS or other carriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the carrier directly for any delivery issues. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for carrier delays.

Loss or Damage During Shipping

All orders include up to $100 of shipping insurance. In the rare case of loss or damage, we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier. If the claim is approved and reimbursement is issued, we will refund your purchase price. Automatic replacements or refunds are not offered.

Combined Shipping

We are happy to combine shipping on multiple orders as long as the original order has not yet been sent. To avoid paying duplicate shipping charges, please use discount code ADDSHIP on all additional orders.

  • Additional orders placed without the code will not receive a shipping refund.
  • If the code is used without an initial order that includes a paid shipping charge, you will be invoiced for shipping before your order is sent.

Guarantee

Please open and properly store your tubers immediately upon receipt. We require notification within 48hrs if there are any problems with your order. After that, the plant’s success is up to your green thumb and the conditions you provide. We can’t control your growing conditions, the weather or your treatment. If you leave the tubers in the plastic bags for too long they will rot! If you find a problem with a tuber sent we WILL require you to send back the tuber before a refund is issued. Once again any notification of issues more than 48hrs after delivery WILL NOT be covered.

We guarantee that our dahlias will grow true to their name. If your dahlias do not meet these standards, we will replace the following season.

To ensure optimal results, please plant your dahlias immediately after the last frost date for your USDA growing zone. Dahlias should begin to sprout within five weeks of planting; if they have not sprouted within six weeks, please contact us at Oasisflowerfarm@gmail.com.

Please note that our guarantee does not cover issues related to weather conditions, pest damage, or improper care. All claims must be submitted by August 1 of the year the dahlias were purchased. This guarantee is limited to the purchase price of the tubers and does not include shipping fees or liability for any damages resulting from crop failure.

Oasis Flower Farm cannot guarantee fall-shipped tubers due to limited control over the storage medium.
